The Performance Monitor Configuration node allows you to set up and change PPM configuration parameters. These parameters control how PPM data is collected and analyzed.
Configuration data is categorized under the following sections:

Determines the components that are currently configured to generate the performance data. Allows you to set “default status” for each service at start up. |

Determines the default values for new APDEX configurations. Allows you to change the System Load sample period. |
|
|
Determines the configuration of APDEX parameters for existing web services. Allows association of an APDEX configuration with a previously created alert. |

|
Configuration of the alert notifications. |
|
|
Allows you to change database connection settings related to the PPM database. |
|
|
Allows you to manage the settings related to the retention and purging of data. Provides controls to support the export of APDEX and Transaction data. |
