You access this tool by clicking on the Manipulation Tools icon in the List Based Tools tab of the Tools tab.
This tool allows you define and save manipulation tools which can search and update many of the attributes of Functions and Global Logics.
The criteria defined in the tool will be applied against all Function and Global Logic objects in a list. During processing, each object is booked out to ensure that it cannot be opened for edit or processed by another tool. On completion the object is booked in again.

Manipulation tools should be used with caution, as it is very easy to corrupt Functions or Global Logics by misusing them. It is recommended that new tools should only be run against test functions and Global Logics, so that any changes can be checked before running the tool against live application code. |
Due to the inherent danger of misusing this tool, it is not available by default. You may need your system administrator to enable access for you in the Project Details screen.
