Developer Lists

DEVELOPER

PROIV Developer lists hold a collection of the names of PROIV objects. The object type (e.g. Global Logic) is also held, to avoid conflicts where different object types can have the same name.

You can use these collections of objects to drive many processes within PROIV Developer. See the List Based Tools section of the Tools tab.

You can manually load lists, or load them from searches or generate them from other PROIV Developer processes.

PROIV Developer has two types of list: Saved Lists and Work Lists. The differences between them are that Saved Lists are available to all users in the environment, and can be given meaningful names, while Work Lists are private to a developer, and are given a sequential number as their name.

Where lists are used to drive a process you will usually see the list type graphic, click on this to toggle between the two types of lists.

You can generate Work Lists from Saved Lists and vice versa.
