Virtual Machine tasks
The PROIV Virtual Machine component executes the tasks that are requested from the MFC, Gateway and OpenClient. To achieve a holistic view of an active Virtual Machine transaction, you must enable Virtual Machine and capture the performance data. For further information, refer to Configure Data Components
In addition to Performance Monitor, you can also use Application Profiler to analyze and optimize performance within the Virtual Machine. The Application Profiler is completely integrated into the PROIV Virtual Machine to provide a seamless experience. It identifies areas of your application that consumed disproportionate amount of execution time and helps you to measure the performance of response-time critical elements of your application.
The following transaction events are generated in the Virtual Machine component:
1. Task is received by the Virtual Machine from the Gateway.
2. The task is executed in the Virtual Machine. Virtual machine logs events while executing the task.
3. The response is sent to the Gateway from the Virtual Machine.
