Response String

(Buttons and Icons Only) - The string to be returned to the current field when the object is clicked.

Function Key

(Button, Icon and Expander Only) - Select the function key that has to be triggered when the object is clicked.
On the Function Key list, select the required function key.

Note: An Expander object which does not specify any Function Key action, has an automatic action of toggling the expanded /contracted state. However, an Expander object which specifies a Function Key action does not take any automatic action instead it will run the action specified.

When an application developer defines a Function Key action for an Expander object it is the Function key action (local/global logic, cycle call, global function, function execute) specified that executes rather than the default automatic action of toggling the expanded state.

Click Function Keys icon to display the Function Key Properties window.

Note: Fields that are not applicable to specific object are disabled. The properties can also be set on the Object Properties Grid. Click here for more information.
