The Function Key number. A drop-down list indicates which numbers are available and which have already been assigned.

Description

Action Type

The type of action to be initiated by this Function Key. Select from the drop-down list.

Local Logic - Logic ID (1-255) of the logic to be executed when this Function Key is activated. Click icon at the side of the field to display the Logic Editor.

Global Logic - Name of the Global Logic to be executed when this Function Key is activated. Click icon at the side of the field to display the Global Logic Selection window.

Cycle Call - Tag Name of the cycle to be executed when this Function Key is activated.

Global Function Call - Global Function to be called when the Function Key is activated.

Function Execute - Function to be linked to when the Function Key is activated.

Inherited Fnkey -  Inherited Function Key.

Disable

Check to disable the Function Key in this cycle. Function Keys are inherited between cycles if they are not disabled.

Actions

Fields displayed in the Actions section are dependent upon the selected Action Type.

Local Logic

Select a Local Logic ID to run when the Function Key is activated. (Enabled when Local Logic Action Type is selected.)

Global Logic

Select a Global Logic to run when the Function Key is activated. (Enabled when Global Logic Action Type is selected.)

Local Window

Tag Name of the cycle to be executed when this Function Key is activated. Select from the drop-down list. (Enabled when Cycle Call Action Type is selected.)

Global Function

Global Function to be called when the Function Key is activated. Select from the drop-down list. (Enabled when Global Function Call Action Type is selected.)

Map

Map ID to used in conjunction with a Global Function call. Select from the drop-down list or click the icon to open the Map Maintenance window. (Enabled when Global Function Call Action Type is selected.)

Function Execute

Function to be linked to when the Function Key is activated. Select from the drop-down list. (Enabled when Function Execute Action Type is selected.)
