Click on the Manage Children Definitions icon 
in the File Definition toolbar and click on Create New.
This option creates a new file definition.
Enter the Child File Name.
Enter the Variable Suffix to be appended to all the master’s variable names.
Enter an optional Description.
Click OK.

If the master has variable names longer than 30 characters, then a child cannot be added, since the suffix cannot be appended. |
