Select Admin from the Developer menu and select the Tools tab.

Four groups of tools are available: Object Maintenance provides a bulk load facility to load native PROIV objects into PROIV Developer, Archive Maintenance allows you to archive backups and to restore an object from the archive, Housekeeping allows you to clear history information and to clear backups and Utilities provides a collection of other tools.

Tag Rename Profiles allows you to retrofit object tag naming standards to your functions.

Terminal Types allows you to add and maintain the terminal types.

Terminal Assignment allows you to assign the terminal type and Company/Division code to be set up against specific connections.

Package Management allows you to define package ids that can be assigned to function objects.

Batch-Queue Monitor allows you to monitor and delete PROIV Batch Queues.

System Defaults holds a collection of system settings.

Non-Source Export exports objects created or maintained in PROIV Developer to a PROISAM file for backup or transfer to a different environment/machine.

Non-Source Import imports objects that were exported into a ‘.vpx’ PROISAM file using the Export utility. This could be from the same or a different environment/machine.

Profile Export allows you to export PROIV operators and/or projects to a JSON file format for backup or transfer to a different environment/machine.

Profile Import allows you to import the PROIV operators and/or projects that were exported using the Profile Export utility. This could be from the same or a different environment/machine.

Literal Text Maintenance enables the maintenance of the user-defined Literal Strings.

PROIV Literal Maintenance enables the maintenance of the standard PROIV Literal Strings.

User-Defined Logon enables the User-Defined Logon window for use during the logon process.

Clear History lets you clear the history information.

Clear Backups lets you remove out-of-date backups.

Clear CCNs lets you delete selected CCN records when they are no longer of interest.

Archive Backups lets you archive backups to a file.

Restore Archive lets you restore an object from the archive file.

Standards enables you to set up the base and runtime languages for the Multilingual module, and to configure string extraction rules.

String Types enables you to select which string types are extracted to the Lexicon during the Multilingual Extraction process.
