Lookup Mode

At a non-paging screen, this mode allows you to review records on a screen without changing them. You enter a key and PROIV will look up the record with that key, unless browsing is permitted (by pressing the next or previous key), or the key was pre-loaded via logic.

At a paging screen, a screen full of records appears. The following Function Keys can be used to display other records:

Item

Description

Next

Moves cursor to beginning of next page.

Previous

Moves cursor to beginning of previous page.

Top

Moves cursor to first record.

Bottom

Moves cursor to last record

Moves cursor to previous record.

Moves cursor to next record.

Alternatively, a line number can be typed (which is not displayed) followed by <Return> and the cursor then moves to that paging sequence number. Also see Browsing.
