Browsing

Once you have created a screen function and have entered data on the screen, the browsing feature lets you look at the data in a key field of a record.

For example, suppose you have a few customer names entered in the CUSTOMER NAME field. Instead of having to enter a particular name, you can browse through those names to view the data that has been entered. If browsing is not allowed in a field, PROIV displays the appropriate message.

Function key usage for browsing is different for paging and non-paging screens.
