Paging Screens
For paging screens, PROIV performs the initial file accesses and then displays the first page. Once the first page appears, the cursor waits at the first field for input to determine the next action. The following Function Keys are available for browsing in paging screens:

|
nnnEnter |
Moves the cursor to record number nnn. If this line is not on the current page, a new page appears with the desired record as the first on the page. This option is active only when the cursor is at the sequence number field. The number is not displayed as it is keyed. |
Toggles between Expanded and Contracted mode where screens have been set up with this feature. This allows the amount of data that appears on a paging screen to be varied. In Contracted mode, only the minimum information necessary to identify the record and to give vital information is shown. For more information about a particular record, select the record and press EXPAND. PROIV changes the screen to display additional fields. When toggling from one mode to the other, the page starts with the current record. |
