Adding a Configuration

  1. On the bottom left of the navigation panel, click the Add (+) button next to the New Configuration.
    The Add New Configuration window appears.

  2. In the Name box, enter a name for the new configuration. 

  3. Click Add.
    The configuration is added to the left navigation panel. It inherits the configuration settings as they are defined in the Base configuration. This means all the profiles and settings of Virtual Machine, Application Connector, Client Connector, Analytics components of Base configuration are inherited by the new configuration. The components such as Licensing, System Database or Lexicon are only applicable for Base configuration and are not inherited by any other configuration.

  4. To modify the configuration settings of the new configuration, click the configuration name, select the respective component and then modify the parameter values.

Deploying a Configuration

  1. The new configuration along with the profiles (if any) is automatically added to the list of deployments in the Deployments page. By default, the components of the newly created configuration are disabled for deployment. To deploy a component, you must turn ON the slider. Refer to Working with Deployments for more information.

Deleting a Configuration

  1. To delete a configuration, click the Delete (-) button next to the configuration name in the left navigation panel.
    This removes the configuration from the server having first undeployed any web applications.
