Displays the list of change numbers and object types (file definition or global logic) that has been changed. These objects are used in PROIV functions that require regeneration as a consequence of the change to the object even though the code of the function itself may not have changed at all. It regenerates the affected functions and automatically assign them to the appropriate change so that they are included in the release.

PROIV will not alert users when objects that are amended need cross-reference and regeneration. The Administrator must initiate this manually from the Affected tab.

To process amended objects:

  1. Open the Administration Console and click the Affected tab.
A list of all objects that require cross-reference and regeneration appears.

  2. Click Process.

  3. Click Yes at the prompt to proceed.
When processing is complete, a list of regeneration failures (if any) appear.

  4. Click WorkList to add these to a worklist.
