The control panel application provides you with a single point of access for managing all the PROIV servers in your organisation.
Each of the PROIV application servers has a web-based management console. This console allows you to manage all aspects of the server from your browser. The control panel will connect to a PROIV application server and collect its management definition and use this definition to provide full management of the application server within the control panel.

If the control panel is not accessible then the individual application servers can still be managed by connecting directly to them. |
The control panel and its individual application servers are fully protected by access control.
Users can be given access to the control panel for managing the components (the application servers) and they can be given individual access to one or more application servers.
Whenever you install a new PROIV application server it will register itself with the control panel so that it is immediately available for management.
You can easily add new servers (called components) to the control panel and you can modify existing server details (for example, a change of network address).
