Searching for Unreferenced PROIV Objects

To search for unreferenced PROIV Objects, follow these steps:

Select the Tools tab on the main PROIV Developer Workspace. Click here for more information.

Click General Tools tab on the left.

Click Unreferenced PROIV Objects icon.

The Search for Unreferenced PROIV Objects window displays.

Items on the Search for Unreferenced PROIV Objects window:

Item	Description
Process	Click Process to search all functions to locate unused File Definitions, Global Logics, ActiveX Controls, SSOs, Value Variables and any Action Controls not referenced by a Control Bar.
Results List	Click Results List to display the results in a list.
Cancel	Click Cancel to exit the Search for Unreferenced PROIV Objects window.

Click Process to search all functions to locate unused File Definitions, Global Logics, ActiveX Controls, SSOs, Value Variables and any Action Controls not referenced by a Control Bar.

The progress bar appears.

Note: The search may take some time to complete.

You can click Results List to view the results in a list. The Unused File Definitions, Global Logics & uncalled Global Functions window appears. You can use the window to add the results to an existing or new work list. You can also generate the Unreferenced PROIV Objects Report.

Items on the Unused File Definitions, Global Logics & uncalled Global Functions window:

Item	Description
Type	Displays the object type of the unreferenced object.
Object Name	Displays the object name of the unreferenced object.
Object Description / Title	Displays the object description of the unreferenced object.
WorkList	Click WorkList to add the unreferenced PROIV Objects to the active work list or to a new work list.
Print	Click Print to generate the Unreferenced PROIV Objects Report.
Close	Click Close to exit the Unused File Definitions, Global Logics & uncalled Global Functions window and return to the Search for Unreferenced PROIV Objects window.

Click Cancel to exit the Search for Unreferenced PROIV Objects window.
