Description

Active Paging

Enables Active Paging functionality for the selected Paging Cycle.

Array Size

The number of elements in the Paging Array. This is used when the Paging Cycle is driven by an array rather than a file

Paging Area Size

Enter a Start Row, Start Column, Width and Height to define the location and size of the Paging Area. You can also specify the number of lines and number of columns to be displayed for each record.

Start Row

Enter the start row of the Paging Area, this specifies the starting row location of the area.

Start Column

Enter the start column of the Paging Area, this specifies the starting column location of the area.

Height

Enter the height in lines for the Paging Area.

Width

Enter the width in characters for the Paging Area.

Paging Record Settings

 

Lines / Record

The number of lines required to display each expanded Paging Record.

Lines / Contracted Record

The number of lines to be displayed when the Paging Screen is in Contracted mode.

Record Width

The number of characters required to display each Paging Record.

Last Field for Contracted Record

Select the field tag for the final field to be displayed when in Contracted mode.

Enable Auto Expansion

 

Default all

Select the check box to enable the auto expansion of rows for all modes.

Add

Select the check box to enable the auto expansion of rows in Add mode.

Change

Select the check box to enable the auto expansion of rows in Change mode.

Lookup

Select the check box to enable the auto expansion of rows in Lookup mode.

Delete

Select the check box to enable the auto expansion of rows in Delete mode.

Open Client Only

Note: These options apply only to PROIV Open Client and not to the PROIV MFC Client.

 

Horizontal Scroll Bar

Select the check box to display a horizontal scroll bar in the Paging Area. This enables you to add more columns than would normally fit into the Paging Area, and you can use the scroll bars to move the Paging Area left and right to see all of the data in the Paging Screen. When the option is selected, the horizontal bar appears in all modes. Click here for more information about the enhanced Open Client Paging Area.

Max Paging Height

Enter the maximum height in lines that the Paging Area can be resized to.

Max Paging Width

Enter the maximum width in characters that the Paging Area can be resized to.

Lock Column

Select a column to lock from the drop-down list. When you lock a column, it stays in place and the other columns to the left of it are also frozen, and you can then use the horizontal scroll bar to scroll across to view the unlocked columns.
