To set advanced options for Software Import
On the Software Import screen, click Advanced.
The Select Objects for Import screen appears. The list of objects appears same as displayed in the main import screen.
Under the Object Selection Criteria group, specify the search criteria:
On the Saved List Name, select the Work List or Saved List, as required.
The objects associated with the Work List or Saved List appear. Any objects in the saved list that do not exist in the export file are not be added to the import list.
On the Object Type list, select the object type.
On the Function Type list, select the function type.
On the Object Name list, the list of objects appear based on your choice of Object Type and Function Type.
Select the object that you wish to add to the import list.
Select the package, only objects belonging to the package will be selected. If 'Sub' is checked then objects belonging to sub-packages will also be selected; in this scenario, if, for example, 'com.mycompany' is the specified package then objects belonging to 'com.mycompany.sales' will also appear on the list.
In the Security Category box, enter the security category.
In the Word Search box, the selection will be filtered to only include obejct that contain the specified 'word' either in the name of or the description of the object will be selected.
Click Process.
The list of objects appears as per the specified criteria. If the list is large, a message appears with back and forward arrows and allows you to view all objects.
