Importing a Release

Once a release has been exported, it can be imported into the next region.

If you want to import a release from the Change Management Console, right-click on the release and select Import Release to open the Release Import window. Move to step 3 below.

To import a release:  

1. Locate and select the release that you want to import on the Release Management Console.

2. Click Import to open the Release Import window.
   The details of the changes to be imported are displayed.

3. To display a list of objects to be imported, click Show Objects to open the Change Management Release Import - Objects Awaiting Import window.

4. Click Exit.

5. Click Proceed to import the release.
   All the objects that were included in the release are now automatically available in the PROIV developer for modification.

The date the release was imported is now shown on the Release Management Console. If you hover it, the date and name of the user that imported the release appears with the date of approval and approver.
