PROIV Virtual Machine Connection on Windows

The PROIV Virtual Machine provides the PROIV Sessions for an Aurora session.

To view the configuration of the PROIV Virtual Machine Connection, follow these steps:

  1. Open the aurora.properties file. This file contains descriptions of the properties and is located here:

..\PROIV Version 8\ClientServices\webapps\Aurora\WEB-INF\classes\aurora.properties

  1. The PROIV Virtual Machine configuration is located in the Open Client Connection Settings section.

# Description: The PROIV Virtual Machine host to be used for Open Client connections

# Acceptable values: host name or IP address

# Default value: localhost

# Title: Host Port

# Description: The PROIV Virtual Machine port

# Acceptable values: positive decimal integer (1 - 65535)

# Default value: 8023

proiv.session.port = 8023

# Title: User Name

# Description: The PROIV login user name

# Acceptable values: any string

# Default value: Aurora

proiv.session.username = AURORA

# Title: User Password

# Description: The PROIV login password

# Acceptable values: any string

# Default value: ""

  1. The corresponding AURORA user entry is added to the pro4v[n].ini. This refers to the operator that Aurora uses to access PROIV, not the operator that runs the PROIV Functions that are exposed to the end user via Aurora.
