PROIV Client Printing Options

Printing from the PROIV Client (on any kernel platform) may be accomplished using one of the following methods:

Using the kernel to perform printing on a printer accessible using the kernel machine. (This can be a network attached printer.) This method is the most efficient because it avoids extra network traffic to send the report data to the Client. It is the only option available if you are not in GUI mode and also means that printer settings can be controlled from a central location.
Using the Client to perform printing on a printer accessible using the Client machine. (This can be a network attached printer.) This method is more flexible when you have printers attached to individual PCs.
