Function Keys

The HELP Function Key invokes the help feature. Invoke this feature by pressing help or by keying ? followed by <Return>.

The EDIT Function Key invokes the edit feature. This improves the data entry capability by allowing data to be edited rather than having to retype entire fields. Various Function Keys are used when in Edit mode.

The WINDOW Function Key invokes the windowing feature. This allows a predefined link to an LS, or window, from a field.

The CANCEL Function Key provides the capability to 'undo' all the changes made to the field in the current edit session and restore the field with the original text.

The DELETE Function Key is used to erase all text from the current cursor position to the end of the field without repeatedly hitting the DELETE key.
