Floating Point Format

Input to numeric fields is allowed in floating point format to facilitate input of very large and very small numbers. The floating point format used by PROIV is mantissa ‘E’ exponent. For example:

1E1 =	10
E =	0
1E2 =	100
2E1 =	20

Numbers greater than 1E10 or less than 1E-6 are displayed in the same floating point format.
