Add Mode

This mode allows you to add a new record to a file.

If the ADD Function Key is pressed while in a non-indexed paging screen, then the cursor is positioned at the end of the list of records currently displayed.  The contents of the previous record are usually displayed for reference.

If ADD is pressed while in an indexed paging screen, then the screen is cleared and the sequence numbers displayed for added records start from '001.'  The sequence numbers displayed at this screen do not bear any relationship to the sequence numbers of existing records, as the added records are merged with the existing records in key sequence order.

If ADD is pressed while in a non-paging screen, screen data fields are cleared (unless flagged as auto-repeat fields), and the cursor is positioned at the first input field.
