Data Variables

A variable can assume different values during function execution. Every variable has a name that PROIV uses to reference the value.
The following characters cannot be used in a variable name , : ; / < > ? ( ) and space character.

Besides File variables PROIV recognizes four other types of variable:

Scratch
Value
Environment
System
