The following logic commands are available to convert data types:

Logic Command	Description
CONV	Performs the conversion with no editing.
PIC	Performs the conversion with editing.
ALPHA	Converts data from either numeric wide or mixed to alphanumeric.
ALPHAVAL	Converts data from wide to alphanumeric.
NUMERIC	Converts data from either alphanumeric or wide to numeric.
WIDEPIC	Performs the conversion with editing.
WIDEVAL	Converts data from either numeric or alphanumeric to wide.
