You can resize any control to be smaller or larger than its current size.

Select the control using the left mouse .  This action immediately displays the moving and resizing handles.  You can change either the height or the width of a control by using the appropriate handle and you can change both in one operation by clicking and dragging a corner handle to the required position.

Enlarging an edit box to more than one line does not automatically make it a multi-line control.

Sizing Icons

You can manually size an icon control to any height or width.  It automatically resizes itself to display all of its associated bitmaps.  If a bitmap is larger than the full screen, the icon fills the full screen and the bitmap is clipped on the bottom and right sides.

Sizing Buttons

You may resize a to any height or width, even full screen; although this action is not recommended.  A , unlike an icon, always clips any bitmap associated with it unless the bitmap fits the exactly.  If the is larger than its associated bitmap, the bitmap is aligned centred, left or right justified depending on its alignment setting.  The alignment applies to text associated with a and not the bitmap.

Sizing Text

As text is resized vertically, it grows larger in point size and automatically shows whatever portion of the text that will fit the current rectangle.  It is clipped on the right, left or from both sides depending on its alignment.  When resized horizontally, the point size does not change.

All resizing operations may be undone using the Undo toolbar , the Edit menu item or by pressing CTRL+Z.
