The PROISAM Tuning page is used to tune the PROISAM configuration parameters. Tuning the PROISAM configuration parameters modifies the registry entries on the server machine.  For a detailed description of PROISAM parameters, refer to Environment Variables.

Initially this page displays the current PROISAM registry settings on the server machine.  If there is no entry, it adds the default entry to the registry.

Note: You must be an administrator of a local machine or a domain administrator if are modifying the registry of a remote machine to run this utility.

The Set and Reset s are enabled when settings are modified.  However, the registry is not updated.  The Set updates the registry. The Reset reloads the current registry settings

The Default changes the settings to PROISAM defaults.  This is useful when the user changes a setting to an incorrect value and does not remember the default.  To set default values, click on the Default to view the default values and then click on the Set .
