This guide provides the information required to setup, configure and run PROIV in the Microsoft Windows operating environment.
Database Configuration discusses connecting to SQL databases from PROIV and initialisation file settings.
Configuration Settings discusses the configuration setting for the various Window’s environments. The types of environments are discussed and settings that are unique to each are presented. This section also discusses the location of the various INI files associated with PROIV.
ISARCH Utility combines the functionality of the ISIN, ISOUT, and ISDEL programs in a single environment.
PROIV Administrator Tools covers the PROIV Administrator Tools. This set of utilities can be run on Windows machines to control the operation of the Windows server.
Machine Specific PROIV Features describes machine-specific PROIV features. The LINK/LINK-CLIENT logic verbs are discussed, as well as the requirements for passing parameters to an entry point, default entry points for the SYSTEM Logic Verb and the XFER Logic Verb.
