Default File System

FSIDEFAULT

Defines the file type of the bootstraps and temporary files. It also defines the file type of the data files that do not have a specific file type. The file type must be PROISAM. The value of this field is overridden for a particular database if a file_type_identifier is specified. Use the FSIDEFAULT parameter to specify the default file system type of PROISAM.

Recommended Setting

fsidefault = PROISAM
