An Application Definitions file has up to three main sections:

Each section is started with a section name in square brackets, and extends to either the beginning of the next section, or the end of the file. Within each section, there are one or more name = value lines, which define the mapping of a logical name to a physical name or value.

Lines starting with a semicolon (“ ; “) are treated  as comments and ignored by the Windows Client.
