A Web Service connector is a link between a web service and an application. The connector knows what type of application it is connecting to and so can use the correct connection and access protocols. There are three types of connectors:
A PROIV Connector will connect to a PROIV application to run Tasks.
A Java Connector will connect to one or more Java classes in the Web Services server.
