The PROIV Connector Functions

When you create a PROIV connector you must specify the Tasks that the connector will use. These tasks are written in your PROIV application. The PROIV connector configuration allows you to define the PROIV application machine and environment so that you can target the correct PROIV application.

Your PROIV application has some built in tasks that you can use:

TK_Z_TASKREP - This task builds a report of all available tasks. This is used by the control panel to show you the list of tasks available.

TK_Z_TASKPARS - This is a support task for TK_Z_TASKREP.

TK_Z_TASKPARS_WITH_DETS - This is a support task for TK_Z_TASKREP.

TK_Z_TASKTEST - This is a simple test task that you can use to check that your web service is working. You can set a number of parameters that are returned to you along with various bits of information such as the PROIV version, date and time.
