Managing Log Files

Click Log Files to manage the log file destinations that can be used for logging any gateway activity.

The log file destinations you define here are used in the Gateway Server Logging to hold log information for various gateway events.

To add a log file destination:

Put a Log Name, File Path and a Flush Interval in the empty fields at the bottom of the list.

Configuration properties

If you do not click on the Add Log Destination then your log file destination will not be added to the gateway.

Set the Log Name, File Path or Flush Interval in the fields for the log file destinations.

If you do not click on the Save Log File Configuration then your changes are not saved.

You can modify more than one log file destination at a time.

Click Delete Log Destination for the log file destination.
Click OK in the confirmation dialog to delete the log file destination. Click Cancel if you do not want to delete the log file destination.

Log Name	The name used to identify this log file destination. This will be used in the Bus Server Logging section.
File Path	The full path name to the log file.
Flush Interval	The number of seconds between each write to the log file. For normal operation a flush every 5 minutes (300) should be adequate. If you are debugging then set this to 1 to get more immediate information.
