The following generic, file dependent utilities are provided to maintain the PROIV file system:

iskeys lists the keys of one or more records in the specified file(s) in ascending order.

isout copies the data records from one or more selected database files to a sequential file that it creates.

iscr creates one or more file(s) external to PROIV and/or erases the contents of existing files.

isin reads data from one or more sequential files created by isout and, for each one, creates or updates one or more indexed file(s).

The PROISAM File Utilities describes the PROISAM specific tools .

If the file utilities are run in DOS, see the appropriate topic for details of any additional environment settings that must be made.
