Features Not Supported

There are several PROIV and Reality features which are not supported:

File Verbs are not supported in Reality.
Unicode is not supported in Reality.
File Creation, Deletion, and Renaming – PROIV cannot create, delete or rename Reality files directly.
Redefines – Redefines are not allowed in PROIV File Definitions.
Index Paging on Hashed Files – You cannot use PROIV indexing type behaviour when using REALH hashed files. Click here for more information.

Dictionaries – PROIV does not use Reality dictionaries as such. However, Reality indexes must be defined in the dictionaries so that PROIV can access them. REALX uses the IID.IDX file and REALH do not use indexes. Click here for more information.
Binary or D-pointer Item Access – Binary or D-pointer Item access is not supported.
List Handling – Reality list handling (Sorts and selects with selection criteria and Save/Get Lists) is not supported.
