Process Points
On Entry - Logic ID (1-255) of the logic to be executed on entering the cycle. Click icon at the side of the field to display the Logic Editor.
On Exit - Logic ID (1-255) of the logic to be executed on exit from the cycle. Click icon at the side of the field to display the Logic Editor.
Mode - Logic ID (1-255) of the mode logic. The mode logic is always executed once, after the On Entry logic, and is then executed again whenever the screen mode is changed. Click icon at the side of the field to display the Logic Editor.
EOD/Cancel - Logic ID (1-255) of the logic to be executed when EOD or Cancel is performed. Click icon at the side of the field to display the Logic Editor.
Iteration Counter - Iteration count variable.
Sort/Select (Paging Cycles Only)
Check Sort, Select or None depending upon whether the cycle is to sort, select or neither.
On Sort/Select - Logic ID (1-255) of the logic to be executed during the sort/select pass. Click icon at the side of the field to display the Logic Editor.
Sort File - Clicking this pops a window showing the files included in the sort/select pass. The File Accessors themselves are flagged to show if they are to be included in the sort/select.
Var/Descend - For Sort Cycles, enter the variables on which the records should be sorted, in the order in which they should be sorted. For example, if you enter VAR1,VAR2,VAR3, the sort will be on VAR3, within VAR2, within VAR1. Check the Descend option if the records should be sorted in descending, rather than ascending order.
