Screen Function Cycle Behaviour

The Fields in this Window:

Last Read Field - From the drop-down list, select the tag name of the Last Read Field in this cycle. In Change, Lookup and Delete screen modes, the SYSPASS will occur after the Last Read Field is exited in the Timing Cycle – that is, the data will be displayed.

Note: Whenever EOD is executed before or in the Last Read Field, the EOD is treated as a CANCEL. Any Must Input fields become irrelevant if no file write occurs. The Last Read Field should normally be where the primary file read occurs.

Mouse Navigation - Check if mouse navigation is permitted on this screen.

Cycle Mode

Check Add, Change, Delete, Lookup, Insert as required to indicate the permitted modes for this screen.

Default Mode - Select one default mode for this screen.

Delete Mode Options - Check the relevant box(es) to suppress Augmented Access and/or ‘Are You Sure?’ when the screen is in Delete mode.

When a field is set to Augmented Access, this lets the field take focus in Lookup or Delete modes, to allow windowing. (Normally, Lookup and Delete modes don’t let fields after the Last Read Field take focus.) This check box allows you to override the field’s Augmented Access setting for this cycle in Delete mode.

An ‘Are You Sure?’ prompt is normally displayed a user deleting a record when the screen is in Delete mode. This check box allows you to suppress the prompt in this cycle.
