To open the Function Key Maintenance window:

  1. Click  Function Keys on the PROIV Developer Toolbar, or click the Function Keys on the Property Sheet of a or an icon.

  2. The Function Key Maintenance window displays.

Item

Description

Cycle/Fnkey

Displays details of the cycle and Function Key, including the cycle name, Function Key Number and the Function Key description.

Action Type

Displays the Action Type associated with the Function Key.

Action Detail

Displays details of the action associated with the Function Key. For example, the associated Logic ID or Cycle Call.

Suppress

Suppresses the action of the Function Key in that cycle. Function Keys are usually inherited and this can block the inheritance.

Properties

Click to display the Function Key Properties window where you can associate actions with the Function Key.

Assign Object

Click to display the Assign Fnkey to Object window where you can assign the Function Key to a selected object.

Assign A/C

Click to display the Assign Fnkey to Action Control window where you can assign the Function Key to an Action Control.

Logic

Click to display the logic associated with the Function Key in the Logic Editor. This only applies if the selected Function Key has logic associated with it.

New

Click to display the Function Key Properties window which enables you to set up a user-defined Function Key and its associated actions.

Delete

Click to delete the selected Function Key.

OK

Click to close the Function Key Maintenance window.
