Alias

The name given to the service for purposes of identification. This name will be shown in the left pane at the head of the management menu.

Component

The type of component. The drop down list shows all the types of PROIV application servers that can be managed through the control panel.

Hostname

The name or IP address of the application server.

Port

The port that the application server is listening on for management connections.

Context

The context of the application server within its web server. This is usually left blank (the default context).

Alt. URL

The last part of the URL for management connections (this may be removed as it is not really something that changes).

Protocol

The network protocol to be used for management. This should be set to http.
