Manage Palettes

Click Palettes to manage the palettes that you can assign to various visual entities when configuring the palette section of a PROIV Service.

To create a palette:

1. Click at the bottom of the page.

2. Type in a name for the palette and click on the Submit .

3. Make your changes to the configuration.

4. Click Submit.

If you do not click Submit, your changes are not saved.

To view a palette:

1. Click for the palette.

To modify a palette:

1. Click for the palette.

2. Make your changes to the configuration

   Item	Description
   Palette Name	This is the unique identifier for the palette. This field is read only and displayed here only for reference.
   Foreground Color	The foreground color that items will use when assigned this palette.
   Background Color	The background color that items will use when assigned this palette.
   Default Proportional Font	This determines whether items will render in the default proportional font when assigned this palette. When checked, this disables the 'Font Name' drop down selection field.
   Proportional Font	The proportional font that will be used, when the 'Default Font' is not to be used. The fonts that appear in this drop down can be managed by the Manage Fonts section.
   Bold	Whether the font used (either default or specified) appears with the bold attribute set.
   Italic	Whether the font used (either default or specified) appears with the italic attribute set.
   Underline	Whether the font used (either default or specified) appears with the underline attribute set.
   Strikeout	Whether the font used (either default or specified) appears with the strikeout attribute set.
   Default Monospaced Font	Whether items specified as mono-spaced render in the default mono-spaced font when assigned this palette. When checked this disables the 'Monospaced Font Name' drop down selection field.
   Monospaced Font	The mono-spaced font that will be used for mono-spaced items when the 'Default Monospaced Font' is not to be used. The fonts that appear in this drop down can be managed by the Manage Fonts section.
   Bold	Whether the mono-spaced font used (either default or specified) appears with the bold attribute set.
   Italic	Whether the mono-spaced font used (either default or specified) appears with the italic attribute set.
   Underline	Whether the mono-spaced font used (either default or specified) appears with the underline attribute set.
   Strikeout	Whether the mono-spaced font used (either default or specified) appears with the strikeout attribute set.

    

3. Click Submit.

To delete a palette:

1. Click for the palette.

2. Click OK in the confirmation dialog to delete the palette. Click Cancel if you do not want to delete the palette.

The default palettes can not be deleted, but may be altered. Default Reports Default Current Field Default Display Only Default Input Field Default Format Default Button Default Icon
