Client Administration |
This diagram highlights the key components of the Client Administration server.
The Client Administration server may be embedded in any 2.2 compliant servlet container. The Client Administration server will run alongside other servlets in your chosen servlet container.
The Client Administration server runs as a servlet in the container to deliver both static pages, such as images and plain HTML, and dynamic pages that are generated by the application.
The Client Administration management delivers the management pages that are used to create and configure the services and proxies that are available for users of the Client Administration system. The management executes using an Active Web server that dynamically builds all the pages.
The Client Administration proxy connector provides a link between the client browser running the PROIV client OCX and the PROIV application server. The proxy connector routes the PROIV datastream between the PROIV client OCX and the PROIV application server and it allows details of the application server (host name/IP address, user names and passwords) to be hidden from a connecting client.
