TK_AU_ClearResumableSessions |
PROIV Aurora Help |
This Task manages resumable PROIV Aurora sessions. For example, when you log on to PROIV Aurora and there are resumable sessions, (Sessions that were not exited cleanly from the previous session, i.e. caused by the session timing out), a window appears containing the following three options:
Resume – PROIV Aurora logs on and any resumable sessions are resumed.
Clear – PROIV Aurora logs on, but resumable sessions are not resumed.
Cancel – Cancels the logon attempt.
The task is called when you select the Clear option. It removes resumable session records for the Operator ID who is attempting to log on.

This Task calls the Start function @AU_ClearResumableSessions by default. When implementing a third party security and menu system, it is recommended that you implement this specific function name instead of altering the Task Definition to call an alternative Start function. You can import an empty version of the function from the aurora_core_replaceables.vpx file and then edit as appropriate. However, if you change the Start function on the Task Definition to call an alternative function name, the definition must be changed at system upgrade with a new version from the aurora_core_replaceables.vpx file.
