Checks as you Enter Logic

DEVELOPER

Validation of keywords and variables is invoked on completion of each line and full block checks for complete IF type statements are performed on logic completion. Individual lines in error are marked with symbol. Clicking on this symbol will display a tool tip message detailing the error for that line.

When you complete a line with an error, a message appears with information about the error. When you click Save to leave the logic editor, a question window appears if the current logic contains errors. This window gives information about the first line that has an error and asks whether you want to return to editing this logic. Click Yes to move directly to the first line with an error. (See also Go to Next/Prev Error ). If you save a piece of logic that is in error, it is marked as such and you will be warned when you build the function. You are not stopped from building the function as some errors are not fatal.
