Methods of the Client Object

DEVELOPER

The Client object belongs to the Other Objects group. This group is the highest order of objects which control the application and the PROIV Cycle procedures. The Windows Client object does not have any properties, only methods and is a reserved object name, and you cannot use it to label any other PROIV object.

A method is a procedure that is executed for a particular object. Methods are different to properties in that they have arguments which are enclosed in a pair of parentheses and they may or may not return a value.

Selecting PROIV Insert (F4)PROIV Insert (F4) from the context menu in the Logic Editor provides a list of methods and properties available for an object.
