The information and error messages reported to the Windows Event Log are listed below.

Description

'Message: (Informational text)'

'Error Message: (Specific error message text)'

'PROIV Server started.'

'PROIV Server exiting, status (-1 or –2)'

-1 = PRO32SRV.EXE: PROIV Server startup failed -- Service already active.

-2 = PROIV Server startup failed -- PROISAM error.

'PROIV Client connected: Inet address (internet address), port (port number), socket (socket descriptor).'

[This message is issued whenever a user connects to the kernel Client port. It is also issued when a remote FSI (File System Interface) connect is accepted.]

'Started controlling thread: ThreadId = Thread ID;'

Listening for connection on port (port number), socket (socket descriptor).

'Started kernel thread: ThreadId = Thread ID.'

'Ending kernel thread: ThreadId = Thread ID.'

'Started FSI thread: ThreadId = Thread ID.'

'Ending FSI thread: ThreadId = Thread ID.'

'Started batch thread: ThreadId = Thread ID.'

'Ending batch thread: ThreadId = Thread ID.'
