This mode works a little differently from other modes.
For Paging Screens, the cursor must be placed at the first record to be deleted and the DELETE key pressed. Moving the cursor up or down using arrow keys, or Next and Prev keys in the field, selects other records to be deleted.

Note: In Green Screen, the number of records selected for deletion appears on the same line as the Mode Prompt. However, in GUI, the information is displayed at the bottom left. |
When records for deletion have been selected, pressing EOD (End of Data) removes them (or CANCEL aborts the delete operation).
On non-Paging Screens, you must select DELETE, and then enter a record key to display the record unless: browsing is permitted (by pressing the next or previous key), or the key was pre-loaded via logic. The prompt 'Are You Sure?' appears and a Y must be entered for the deletion to take effect.
