Purpose |
LINK calls an external procedural language routine from within PROIV. Control is passed to the procedural language routine and when it completes processing control automatically returns to the PROIV logic statement immediately following the LINK statement. |

Remarks |
If a subroutine is called from a Unix, the subroutine indicated by LINK must be physically linked to the kernel at build time. If the command is issued from a Windows kernel, the subroutine must be in a DLL that is called by the kernel process. Therefore, the subroutine must be the correct format and must be locatable by the kernel. See also LINK-CRT.and LINK_CLIENT_VAR. |
