Default Side List in Edit Views

The default behaviour is that all views share a current Side List setting and this is also shared between Function Tabs.  This Default Side List in Edit Views

option allows the developer to set the default list that initially displays.

Retain Side List selection across Views

This option defines whether PROIV Developer retains the current Side List selection when switching between views. Setting this option to False lets each view remember its Side List setting, and enables each view to have a different default Side List defined. The default is True which means that the main default choice is used.

Retain Side List selection across Function Tabs

This option defines whether PROIV Developer retains the current Side List selection when switching between Function Tabs. Setting option this to False means that each Function Tab can have a remembered Side List setting.

Setting the Retain Side List selection across Views option to False and Retain Side List selection across Function Tabs option to True individually configures Side Lists by view, but are shared across functions. Setting both options to False configures all views to have their own setting.

Side List to default to in Dynamics View

This option defines the Side List that PROIV Developer displays by default in the Dynamics view.

The Retain Side List selection across Views option must be set to False for this to have effect, otherwise PROIV Developer uses the default Side List.

The default value is Default which uses the Default Side List in Edit Views option.

Setting the option to History displays an historical list of changes made to the function.

Setting the option to Summary displays an historical list of changes made to the function.

Setting the option to Properties displays a list of properties for the object(s) selected in the structure tree, or for the current object in the other views.

Side List to default to in Events View

This option defines the Side List that PROIV Developer displays by default in the Events view.

The Retain Side List selection across Views option must be set to False for this to have effect, otherwise PROIV Developer uses the default Side List.
