Click on the File Properties icon 
in the File Definition toolbar.
Description - Free text description of the File Definition.
File Type - The Storage type for the file – for example, PROISAM, ORA, CISAM. Select from the drop-down list.
Auto Seq - Check if the file is auto-sequenced.
Lock Sequence -This field is used for auto-sequenced files only. Check to lock the complete sequence to other users when any item in the sequence is locked.
Physical File - Alternative filename for the physical file. If you do not supply a filename here, the name of the physical file is generated automatically, based upon the name of the File Definition.
Co/Div - Check if the file key should be prefixed by the 3-character Company/Division code.
Encryption Key - The encryption key to be used for any fields on the file that have the encryption flag set.
Security Category - The security category for the file.
Add/Change/Lookup/Delete - Select a level, 1 to 9, to indicate the minimum permission level required by a developer to access the file in that mode.
