Defining a RESTful TASK

1. On the PROIV Developer Toolbar, click the down arrow next to the New icon  and select New RESTful Task. Alternatively, on the Developer menu, click New and then select New RESTful Task.
   The Name the new RESTful Task window appears. 

2. In the RESTful Task Name box, enter the name.

3. In the Task Description box, enter the description.

4. Click OK.
   The Editing RESTful Task <Task name> window appears.

5. By default, the Definition tab opens.

6. On the Start Function list, select the RESTful function.
   Note: It is mandatory to select the function which uses RESTful services.

7. On the Exit Function list, select the function that triggers to exit the function.

8. On the Error Function list, select the function that handles errors in the function.

9. In the Task XML Tag box, enter the XML tag.

10. On the Function List Type, ensure Inclusive is selected.

11. Click the Function List Tab, to include any other functions to the task.

12. Click the Notes tab to enter any additional information of the task.

13. Click OK.
